The Cookies

  • How big are the cookies?
    • The Signature Nox Cookie is BIG – about 4” in diameter.  The small cookies in the NoxBox are smaller but still a good size – about 2” in diameter.
  • What is a NoxBox
    • The noxbox is 12 small cookies packaged in a go-anywhere box.  This is great for delivering as a gift, or for snacking throughout the day.
  • What ingredients/allergens are in your cookies
    • We use butter and eggs in all our cookies.  Our Peanut Butter cookie is the only cookie with nuts, however, due to the facility and baking process all cookies may come in contact with nut products.
  • Are there any preservatives in your cookies?
    • We use fresh ingredients and there are no added preservatives.  Our cookies are best enjoyed when they are delivered warm but they are still plenty tasty 3 days later.  For best results store cookies in an airtight container or bag.


Delivery

  • Where do you deliver?
    • Our delivery zone captures part of San Jose, California and neighboring cities.  Use our address checker on our home page to see if you are in our delivery zone.  If you are outside the delivery zone but still within driving distance of San Jose, contact us by phone or email and we will try to accommodate your order.
  • How long does a delivery take
    • If you are in our Rapid Delivery Zone we will have your personal order to you in 30 minutes or less.  For locations in our expanded delivery zone we will have your order to you as soon as the traffic allows.  If you are not located in our Rapid Delivery Zone it is best to schedule your order in advance to allow us time to deliver it when you need it.
    • For On Demand orders larger than 24 cookies please allow us time to bake the quantities you need.  It is best to schedule these orders with us in advance.
  • Can I schedule a future delivery
    • Absolutely!  This actually helps us ensure you get great cookies at the time you need them. Please specify desired day and time in the Special Delivery section of the Shipping/Delivery Address Form, or in the Additional Information form at Checkout.
  • Is there a minimum order size for delivery?
    • The minimum size for any order is $7.50.
  • Is there a delivery fee?
    • For deliveries in our Rapid Delivery Zone the fee is $3.00.  For deliveries in the Expanded Delivery Zone the fee is $6.00.  Please use our address checker on the home page to determine what zone you are in.
  • What if I’m not around when the delivery arrives?
    • You can leave us special instructions during your order checkout indicating where you’d like us to leave your package.  We will text or call you once we have delivered. 
  • I’m outside of your delivery area, how can I get cookies delivered to me?
    • If you are still within driving distance of San Jose, CA please call us and we’ll see if we can accommodate your order.  Otherwise, we’d be happy to ship you the order but unfortunately they won’t arrive warm! 


Payment

  • What methods of payment do you take?
    • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit, debit, and gift cards.  For corporate customers with recurring orders we can establish an account and invoice you monthly.
  • Are there discounts?
    • There are volume discounts for the Cookies and the Nox Boxes. 
  • Do I need to tip my delivery driver?
    • Our drivers are very appreciative of any tips they receive.  Please do so at your discretion. 
  • Is the site secure for my credit card?
    • Our hosted eCommerce site is 100% PCI Compliant.  We do not store your credit card information and all transactions are conducted through secure connections with Virtual Merchant, our merchant services processor.

  • How do I set up an account?
    • You can enter your information on the Sign Up page, or on the My Cart page
  • How do I place an order?
    • Go to the Order page, select your items and press Add All to Cart, then navigate to the My Cart page and enter your account information and Checkout.  Alternatively you can call us at 408-656-1287 and we'll take your order over the phone.
  • Can my information be saved for my next order?
    • Absolutely!  Your account information and ordering history is retained.


General

  • When are you open?
    • We are open and will deliver 7 days a week from 11:30am until 2:30am. 
  • I placed my order but I need to change it?
    • If your cookies have not yet been packaged for delivery we will do our best to help you.  Contact us at support@noxcookiebar.com 
  • How can I order as a gift and have it delivered to a different location?
    • You may order under your own account and establish a different shipping address for the order. 
  • Do you have a loyalty program?
    • At this point we do not have this in place.
  • Do you have a physical storefront?
    • At this time Nox Cookie Bar is an online storefront only.  We bring the cookies directly to you!
  • What is a Nox?
    • Nox is the Latin word for night, and is used to emphasize our late night service.
